Hey you,

Sorry this is a couple hours late, the platform I use to send these emails was down for a bit. Everything seems to be fine now, though, so we're back in business!

Well, this past week has been filled with unexpected changes. I'm seeing a guy now for the first time in many years, and I've been really happy about where things are. I've endured a lot these past few months, and it feels like things have finally started looking up. Thank God.

I had dinner with my grandparents last week as well, their birthdays are on the 9th and I'm actually going to be home for it--so I'll hopefully get to see them for a bit. We'll see! Funnily enough, one of my best friends has his birthday on the 8th, so that's a bit of a coincidence! Happy early birthday to all three of you!

• 14th July, 2024 from 12pm-4pm, my mom will be at the Apple Barn Makers Market! Come on down if you're in the area. The Apple Barn Country Bake Shop is located at 604 US Route 7 S, Bennington, Vermont!
• 20th July, 2024 from 10am-5pm, my mom will be at the Apple Barn Country Bake Shop once more for its annual Blueberry Festival!

Erase this!

• YouTube has this "Erase Song" tool that can (apparently) detect a copyrighted piece of music and outright remove it without removing voices. That's pretty cool!
• Speaking of Google, the tech giant has long paid Apple billions of dollars to be the default search engine in their Safari web browser, and an antitrust lawsuit filed by the US Department of Justice may bring that to an end.
• Courtesy of Tom Scott's weekly newsletter (link), grab a desktop or laptop and head over to the Cursor Museum -- a very quick look at how cursors have evolved since the dawn of time.
• Released on the day last week's Bulletin released, Pretendo Network gave their June 2024 progress update. There's a lot in here, including support for new games, and new additions to the PN team. I plan to have more extensive coverage of this in the coming weeks. (Ethics disclosure: PN has provided me with Tester access for the purposes of media coverage.)
