It has been A WEEK! [The Bulletin - 8th June, 2024]

The Bulletin
for 8th June, 2024

Well,

It has certainly been quite the week. Chaotic, busy, stressful, you name it -- I've probably experienced that feeling. But all-in-all, I think it was a fairly good week. At least for the most part.

We unfortunately had to pack up early due to inclement weather from the Cambridge Valley Balloon Festival (we weren't the only ones!), but not to worry, there are two more (smaller) events you can catch my mom at. Those are below in the usual spot.

As for me, I've been fielding emails and texts and everything in between pretty much all week, so I'm feeling kind of out-of-whack. Going to send this off and get a little bit of rest. Here's hoping I feel better tomorrow!

Going to be watching WWDC24 with Adam, so that'll be a blast! Looking forward to it! We watched the 7th May event (iPad Air/Pro/Apple Pencil Pro) together, so we're continuing the tradition by watching Dub Dub together too. I'm so excited!! :D

Anyways, on to your Bulletin for this week...

Upcoming Events

On 15th June, my mom will be at the Schaghticoke Strawberry Festival at the Fairgrounds from 10am-3pm. This one's a shorter event, so keep that in mind. Barring anything else, I should be attending this event with my mom. However, you should still stop by if you're in the area!

On 22nd June, my mom will be at the Vermont Paws & Boots 2nd Annual Fundraiser event from 10am-4pm. Similarly to the last one, I can't confirm whether or not I'll be able to attend this one yet or not, so stay tuned. But if you're in the area, stop by 89 Colgate Heights (Camelot Village), Bennington, VT, and help support an important group's mission on that Saturday!

There are no events on the 29th or 30th of June. There are events coming up in July, which will be included in a future Bulletin.

What I'm listening to...

I happen to listen to a lot of music. Here’s what I’m currently listening to—usually on repeat. Here’s what I’ve got for you, for the week of 8th June, 2024

That's all I have for you this week. I know it was somewhat shorter than usual, but to be honest, it was a fairly quiet week! I like the quiet, though!

I'll see you next week for more stuff.

All the best,
Slade

The Bulletinfor 13th July, 2024 Hey there, Apologies for releasing this email a little later than usual, it was a pretty long weekend and I didn't have access to my computer for a bit. I had a great little trip and I've got some exciting news to share from that which you'll get to hear about very soon. I promise. Anywho, besides being blonde again, there's not much new going on in my life this week. I played a lot of Stardew Valley and Hi-Fi Rush, both of which are fantastic games. So instead...

The Bulletinfor 6th July, 2024 Hey you, Sorry this is a couple hours late, the platform I use to send these emails was down for a bit. Everything seems to be fine now, though, so we're back in business! Well, this past week has been filled with unexpected changes. I'm seeing a guy now for the first time in many years, and I've been really happy about where things are. I've endured a lot these past few months, and it feels like things have finally started looking up. Thank God. I had dinner...

The Bulletinfor 29th June, 2024 Hey hey hey, This week, I returned to carrying two phones: one Android phone, one iPhone (paired to an Apple Watch). Best of both worlds, if you will! This will allow me to test everything without needing to keep moving SIM cards back and forth, which has proven to be an annoying first world problem these past few years. Regardless, I'll probably do a thing on my setup at some point, but for now screenshots are at the end of this email! Either way, as I write...
